What can I expect at In Motion?

In Motion unfolds from soft mornings to wild nights.

Starting at 9am, the day begins with workshops and sessions to energize and inspire your body and mind. From learning, exploring and creating, to exercising, playing, and simply sharing joyful moments together on our colorful festival ground 💫

From early afternoon, our two open-air stages come alive with live acts and DJs, until 23:00 🔥

Throughout the day, you’ll find a market filled with local creators, art exhibitions, a varied food court and colorful spaces that invite you to explore, connect, and celebrate

When does the festival start and end?

Doors open at 9:00am and close at 23:30pm.

Arrival by public transport: Tram stop 11/13 at Fernsehstudio station and a short walk through beautiful Opfikerpark.

Arrival by bike: Please use the public parking spaces to park your bike.

Arrival by car: We encourage you to arrive by public transport. If you want to come by car, please use on the public parking spaces.

Can I leave the festival and come back later?

Yes, guests are allowed to leave and return to the festival during the day. Since we host workshops in the morning, we understand that some guests may need to step out. That said, we encourage everyone to spend the full day with us! You’ll find food, a cozy market, chill-out areas, and even showers for those who want to refresh after the workshops.

How can I pay onsite?

We are cashless! Make sure to bring your debit/credit cards/phones.

What is your policy regarding pictures and videos?

We kindly ask you to be mindful when taking photos or videos. We have professionals on site producing photo and video material in a respectful and thoughtful way. Make sure to respect everyone’s right to their own image and the atmosphere we are creating together.

Is there a wardrobe?

Yes, there will be wardrobe (CHF 3.- per piece)

Is there a dresscode?

In Motion is all about self-expression, freedom, flow and colors.

Come exactly as you are, or as who you want to be ✨ We love seeing you shine in all your colors 🌈

What age do I need to attend?

The minimum age to attend is 21 years.

Will there be tickets at the door?

Yes, there will be tickets at the door!

Will there be food?

Of course ❤️ We have a beautiful food market with a selection of regional and mostly vegan/vegetarian providers.

Where do I find the line-up / time table?

What happens in case of rain / bad weather?

Although the stages and most of the space are open air, there is a big indoor area. We will also provide sun and rain protection outside. In short: the festival will take place in any weather ❤️

Will there be free water?

Of course! We will install free water stations, spread out over the festival area. You are free to bring your own refillable bottles or cups.

Can I bring my Panacea cup?

YES! Please do :) We will sell them on site too.

Is there a camping on site?

Unfortunately no. However, there are a lot of nice hotel options in the area, reachable by foot.

Do I need to register in advance for the workshops?

Yes! To make sure to have a spot, you need to register in advance. You’ll receive a separate e-mail for the registration.

Are the workshops included in the ticket price?

All workshops are included in the ticket price, except for the recovery lounge and massages.

Are there showers that I can use after the workshops?

Yes, we provide showers for those participating in the workshops – please make sure to bring your own towel, soap and shampoo.

Will there be fireworks?

Important: Fireworks are strictly prohibited on the entire festival area! However, as 1 August is Swiss National Day, we expect fireworks in the surrounding area.

Can I bring my dog?

Even though we love dogs, the answer is no. Please leave your furry friends at home, we do not want to risk that they are stressed and overwhelmed by the loud music and big crowd.
